The SoFo Tap is a neighborhood bar first - one that happens to be Chicago's go-to LGBTQIA+ Bear Bar. Located at 4923 N. Clark St. in Andersonville's vibrant LGBTQ+ corridor, we sit at the corner of Clark and Argyle, just south of Foster Avenue on Chicago's North Side.
We opened our doors to be something simple: a bar where bears, allies, and everyone in between could show up exactly as they are. No cover charge. No dress code. No attitude. Just a welcoming space with great drinks, weekly events, and a community that looks out for each other.
From weekly Bearaoke and Nerd Bear Trivia to our flagship GRRR bear party and a dog-friendly outdoor patio - there's always a reason to stop in. The SoFo Tap is open daily, and we mean it when we say everyone is welcome here.
