Jason Johnson is our new Featured Artist at The SoFo Tap for September!

Jason is originally from Michigan but moved to Chicago almost ten years ago. Since then, he's married the man of his dreams and has been living the best life ever in Forest Park with their pooch Tater.

The inspiration for his art, is just him. He wanted to create something that reflects himself, and not on commission for others. He says that it was really nice being able to feel and create it. Jason signs his art with his handprint because that’s the way he started painting—with his hands—so in all his artwork he still paints, at some point, with his hands. He says he just likes to feel it and he thinks that’s important.
